Index/home page text link swapping

Hi all at PH

Im trying to get on the search engines and have realized it isnt easy at all !!
luckily some friendly panty sellers have given me some tips but i have some questions still :p

ive been told its all about text links on your index page, but why would an established panty seller want to swap links with me ? would it be worth while for them ?

if any of you wouldn’t mind swapping links with me id be happy to… also any banner links can be put on my site too.

It’s a good question Heidi. Here have some god karma Quite often established websites will only swap with other sites with a similar high PR (Google page rating). For example you may see people say ‘Willing to swap with other sites of a PR3 or higher’.

Fortunately panty sellers aren’t so fussy Most people will be happy to swap with you because we all remember what it is like to be new.

The best thing to do is show that you intend to stick around and run your business well. There is nothing worse than adding banners and links in good faith, and then the seller disappears after a month or two, because it means you have to update your links again.

This is for everyone that mayhave been wandering – Banners are good for a Friends page but text links are better on the index page.

ah i see yeh i did get a couple of people not willing to banner swap with me but i dont blame them really lol.

will get on the case of text link swapping after i get my panty trust done :p

It can take about 6 months for a new site to get indexed by Google. It isn’t only about swopping links, there are short cuts as well .. you can manually submit your site too google, yahoo, altavista etc to tell their bots and spiders to crawl it.

You will know when it is crawling your site because all you need do is type your URL in the Google Search bar and if you site comes up, you are indexed.

I just checked your site and it IS already being googled:

Getting high ranking is another kettle of fish – that can take alot of work and alot of patience.
