Used Panties Carts and Alertpay Check Out

Written by www.serenassecret.net. Posted in Ask Serena

As much as most buyers feel that Carts and Check-Outs turn buying used panties into a rather impersonal and 'Amazon like' experience, there are suitable adult friendly e-commerce products you could add to your website to sell your used panties. Be aware that a large number of hosts such as Webs, Yola, Weebly, may offer an inbuilt web store and cart, however, those hosts do not allow e-Adult related trading, which means that they are not suitable for your online used panties fetish business.

First you need to find an adult friendly e-commerce product you can add to your website, second, you need to make sure that whatever method of payment your cart provider is affiliated with, its also adult friendly. For example, www.popcart.net is a slick looking tool, but sadly it only checks out to Paypal and Google Check-Out which is completely useless. The most convenient way to operate your cart would be by linking it to a popular online method of payment such as Alertpay. An adequate shopping cart solutions for the your used panties business could be www.zen-cart.com, its completely free and their add-on features include Alertpay check outs, different currencies displays, a selection of Buttons and Graphics to suit your website look and fee, and much more. The installation requires some techie skills and external hosting space.

In my opinion, you can sell your used panties by having a simple, tidy up-to-date gallery, listing your prices and method of payments clearly, and ask your buyers to email you and say Hi, but if you must, then a legit cart will also work.

To date, I have not sold anything without first chatting or e-mailing my buyers. I prefer a more hands on approach, and appreciate their interest in me and my fragrant wares. Each of my buyers have my utmost attention, and each order is 100% customized to their preferences, desires and/or wishes. For the buyers ease the check out cart might be easier, if only I was more technologically advanced. ha ha
I've been wrestling with this. For whatever reason Alertpay didn't clear me for taking credit cards yet so I've resubmitted my request. My husband has installed zen-cart for other online businesses and it wouldn't take much to install it on my site, it's just trying to find a processor that will handle the transactions. :(
Alertpay is the only processor you can use legally, just be aware that you wont be able to use maser cards or amex, which means Visa and balance transfer are your only options, which is plenty.
Make sure you upgrade to a Biz account, it takes time to verify it,but its worth it.

I agree hosillybear, convenience does not equal personality.
I have been working on my site and having a cart was something which did cross my mind.
I prefer speaking to my guys, and I think they would rather speak to me other thnn a check out virtual assistant :D
Thanks Serena! You made it a lot easier.

I think having panty buyers email sellers to order and arrange payment is more time consuming and requires the seller to be more involved in interacting with their customers but I think this is an important part of the experience.

I know some sellers just want to make money from their panties but I really think buyers crave a personal touch. They want to interact with the seller as much as possible in a lot of cases. That and more often than not I think buyers have questions about pricing, shipping, payment options and special requests. A lot of times the buyer isn't completely sure of what they want and they want to talk to the seller about what is available in detail.

Having a shopping card and checkout type situation is faster and more convenient for the seller but I think ultimately a seller will do better with the email approach since buyers benefit more from it.

Nice article :) The technical aspect of selling panties can be a bit overwhelming at first but it's articles like these that really help. Thank you!
