Image theft is a problem whenever you decide to display your work online, so it makes sense to do what you can to prevent it from happening to you.

Forget right click disabling and all those other tricks. If your image is on their screen then the thief can get it. So unless you are savvy with server side image manipulation you need to find a way to physically mark the pictures.

Digital watermarking is the best option, but the licensed software is expensive. So for most of us the best way is to use a photo editing package such as PhotoShop.

A while ago I put together a simple tutorial on how to make a transparent watermark in PhotoShop. They are difficult to remove and don't detract from the image content too much.

You can find the tutorial here : http://www.chandiespanties.com/watermark.html

Hope it's useful to you!
