Hello everyone,I’m just getting started in the business and have started to getmy first few interested customers. Before I go much further I was wondering if anyone in the USA (Florida specifically if you’re out there) can tell me if ANY aspect of this business (shipping panties, photos, accepting e-payments, etc.) is in ANY WAY illegal in Florida or the US.
BEtter yet, does anyone know where I can go to research the laws first hand?
Thanks in advance for your responses!!!
You can do some research on here to begin with, We had a very similar thread on this topic a while ago. Use the search function or just manually go through the relevant forums like the 411, Help for New sellers or Buying and Selling. I seem to remember that someone helpfully posted a whole load about biological hazards.

MemberI quite agree with you Vicky.
A lot of newbies, myself included, have benefited from the advice given by sellers who learned the hard way – through trial and error!
At the moment anyone could read all the advice given on this forum and in the panty university and start a cracking good business. They could also avoid the no-nos and learn how to deal with everything that is thrown at them by the buyers.
Yet, we still get newbies who think it is their right to demand help, and we are somehow obliged to give it.
I can’t think of many other businesses where your direct competitor will help you set up your business, design your graphics and give advice on how to deal with the customers!
I think it is great that other sellers are willing to help but let’s not take it for granted and assume some sort of right to assistance please.
PS But equally, no brown nosing please because it is just as annoying. :buck2:

MemberThere aren’t any guys who sell undies on here. Well at least if they are guys they don;t say they are!
There is some demand for guys undies from guys but that is in the gay scene which doesn’t come to Panty Hog.

Anna
MemberIt would be really helpful if a seller from the US or Canada wrote a piece about recommended payment options for the Panty University.
I did one for the UK and it’s helped a lot of UK newbies.

Hooray! Thanks for your help Anna, I’ve figured it out now. It was my theme that didn’t like all the widgets I had so I’ll just have to change it. It was a bit tricky and annoying anyway. Thankyou! 🙂My pleasure 🙂 Like the new theme 🙂
Anna
MemberHave a look at this, its how to use your theme
Anna
MemberOne of the problems with WordPress is that all the different themes seem to work in different ways Alana. I can only think that somewhere, possibly in your widgets, you need to tell your blog theme to show your blogroll.
I lost my blogroll ages ago but thankfully my theme allows me to have my About Me on the right hand side so I have added my links manually – a bit of spiel and a direct link.
Shout if you don’t know what I mean by widgets.

MemberThanks Mackenzie – you know me 😉
Well said Alana, that is very true, there is stacks of info on these boards from when we have all helped each other if you can be bothered to look.
This ‘Princessy’ attitude really gets my goat.
Anna
MemberNot a single please in any of these requests! mad
This community is very very helpful and I’m sure that there are plenty of sellers out there who would be pleased to help you, however, I suggest that you give something back first.
We’re all in competition with each other and we’re all amateurs. Any help we give to you will improve your sales, where will your increased sales come from? The buyers who buy from us.
Receiving help from the community is not a right – it is something that you get when you put something back in, and ask nicely. Anyone who has spent anytime reading these boards would realise that I’m sure. Â

MemberA lot of North American sellers seem to use Alertpay without too much trouble.

I would like to draw attention to point No 5, where it is stated that only one email has been sent.
Yes, I only recieved one email, which didn’t bother me, what I did object to, is the comment you put on my blog trying to tell me how honest and genuine your site is.My blog is for Panty Buyers & Sellers to read and enjoy, I advertise the sellers I WANT to advertise and comments are ALWAYS welcome from BUYERS or just passers by. NOT people trying to entice me – it won’t work.
Oooooooo nice one Vicky :cheer:
Don;t you just hate it when some people think they can USE us to further their own interests?
