I would say it surely has made a difference as at that time of year, the last thing on most peoples minds is to go on the internet.
 OK i was lucky enough to be able to vote every day, but those with young families or with other`s staying with them, whether they be sellers or buyers i would think it was the wrong time of year to hold the awards. But then again when is the right time?? Overall PH is very quiet right now with only a few diehards posting here. Its also noticeable on the many sellers blog as well, that’s the lack of posting/updates i mean.
Anyway that’s just a few of my thoughts on the subject.
