First Ever Single.

Most people remember the first single they bought.
My choice was Bad Moon Rising by Creedence Clearwater Revival in 1969 and if my memory is correct you got 3 singles for £1

6/8d in old money equates to about 34p.

record got to No1 in the uk and No2 in the US.

John Fogerty lead singer is still going stong and appeared at Glastonbury last year and sounded as good as ever.

Everyone is biased but i thought the sixties was the greatest decade for music.

sadly most of you will be more aware of the eighties but if you get a chance to hear something from my era i’m sure you will enjoy it.

Don’t know about the first single. But I have to say there was some great sounds from the 60’s/70’s wish I had been around then.

I went to a 70’s roller skating party last month which was soooo much fun!

Ahh tangent! I can’t remember my first single, but I remember my first CD was Salt n Pepper’s Very Necessary. Maybe that’s why I’m such as nymphet, I should have stuck to Mozart!
