Problems with Media Gallery

PK, I’m having several different problems with the media gallery.  First, when I upload my pics I try to name them, but it’s giving them the file name instead of the one I chose, & yes I did unclick the box for automatically naming them the file name.  Second, when I go to edit the name of the pics after they have been uploaded, it won’t let me.  I tick the box for the pic I want to edit, but the media manager gives me a different pic than the one I chose to edit.  Thirdly, I can’t read the comments made by others on my pics.  Forthly, when I open the media manager to choose the folder of pics I want to work on, I have 3 folders belonging to other members there in my list.  That shouldn’t be, should it? If you see other people’s folders that means that they have left their gallery open for anyone to edit and add to. Gallery’s should not be set to share. I will go through and see who has galleries set to share and un share them.

As far as the problems you mentioned. Unfortunately, these are problems that have been popping up more and more. They can be fixed one at a time, but I’d really like to upgrade to a newer gallery system. Unfortunately no one has replied to my post asking for input regarding whether to dump the old gallery and all of the files and start new or to keep the old gallery and start a new one to be used from now on.

I’ll just make the call and have a new gallery area up soon.

Am I the only one who hotlinks to the gallery for my panty mall / auction listings?  If you do dump the current gallery, is there some way you can have the current one & the new one up & running at the same time, so that I could have a chance to fix my listings so they won’t be pictureless? -KK

Whats the news about the media gallery? I know i`m not a seller  :laugh: but i do have pictures of my used knickers collection that i have collected from the wonderful ladies here on PH.  😉
