Just to clarify – bank transfer and online banking are two different things.

Bank transfer is expensive. £20-£30 a pop. This is when you use the IBAN (International BANking)number. It’s designed for handling foreign currency and conversions hence the hefty fee.

Online banking (or BACS)is when you just need the sellers account number and sort code, the buyer can set it up themselves online or over the counter with their choice of references, there is no charge and payment clears in 3 days. The seller has no access to the buyers account. Most of my UK buyers use this.

I am very interested in forepay (yep, great name – I just know I’ll be calling it foreplay) for my overseas buyers.

Perhaps I’m just too naivé but I wouldn’t worry too much about showing your face. Obvioulsy it is your decision and I’m not scoffing at your caution.

When I started I didn’t show my face because I honestly thought that I would be pointed at in the supermarket the next day!

Then I got to thinking that we all have doubles in the world, I have one sat in a window in Amsterdam’s red light district. Two of my friends stood there open-mouthed for a long time thinking it actually was me.

I’ve had people rush up to me in the street and demand to know what the hell I’m doing there, then they look harder, apologise and then slink off.

Plus don’t forget that part of recognising someone is seeing them in context. Ever seen a celebrity (down to earth ones)who is doing something normal like shopping in the supermarket and you doubt that it actually is them?

So the chances of someone seeing your face and recognising you is slim, and if they did say something to you just say ‘Oh I do have a lot of doubles you know. where did you say you saw someone who looked like me again?’ Are they really going to say ‘a used panty site’?

This is my take on auctions versus personal sites, all from a psychological aspect – of course.

With a site the buyer has chance to get to know the seller, because a site is very personal and shows a lot about the personality of the girl. Even better if that site has photos, some chat and a blog. The panty fetish requires that the seller have a relationship with the owner of the panties. It’s vitally important that the buyer knows the seller wants to wear her panties for him. This is why merely stealing used panties doesn’t always satisfy the urge.

With an auction however it satisfies the chase aspect that the male enjoys. He selects his panties/mate and then by bidding against other buyers/males he fights for his prize. If he wins then the fact that he has ‘fought’ and ‘chased’ and ‘caught’ means that the panties mean more, they are more valuable thus a better prize.
