MemberHow important are auctions like ebanned for an up and coming panty provider? Do auctions help get one started? Are they better after you’re more established? Do you find yourself selling panties for less than you hoped? Is the competition too huge and faceless? I mean, there are just so many people in one space all doing almost the same thing, right?
It seems like having a website to point people to from an auction so they can see about you is a good thing, but if you can sell from your own site, why go on an auction site?

MemberHEy, just thoguht I would put in my .02 I think doing the auctions are a good idea because they will expose you to a lot of people. Not everyone buys off of personal sites, and building positive feedback can also make you look better to a potential buyer. I dont have a website, mostly cause I have no idea how to build a site, but I think I would still acution even if I did. Plus Ebanned has a great comunity. Hope that helps. 🙂

MemberI think the more you expose yourself generally (I mean as a seller) it doesnt really matter if you auction or have your own site.Â
Just by posting here, perhaps joining panty trust too is already a really good step to get noticed.
I have never run auctions (apart from on my own site) but I would think that is a good start to get noticed when you are new, and then build a site at your own leisure.
Your Panty Trust page could be your main personal page until you can get a proper website up and running of your own.
As for competition, don’t worry about other sellers, just concentrate on you. Just do it B)

MemberThis is my take on auctions versus personal sites, all from a psychological aspect – of course.
With a site the buyer has chance to get to know the seller, because a site is very personal and shows a lot about the personality of the girl. Even better if that site has photos, some chat and a blog. The panty fetish requires that the seller have a relationship with the owner of the panties. It’s vitally important that the buyer knows the seller wants to wear her panties for him. This is why merely stealing used panties doesn’t always satisfy the urge.
With an auction however it satisfies the chase aspect that the male enjoys. He selects his panties/mate and then by bidding against other buyers/males he fights for his prize. If he wins then the fact that he has ‘fought’ and ‘chased’ and ‘caught’ means that the panties mean more, they are more valuable thus a better prize.
So there you go buyers. Are you a Casanova or a Hunter?

MemberWell, Anna, maybe that means auctions with links to one’s site are a good idea. I’m considering auctions mainly as Cindy said, as a way to get myself out there a little more. Even if two people bid, others may follow a link to my site and see more about me and maybe some sexy panties they like a little more. Self-promotion is exciting, but demanding!

MemberIt is demanding but the thrill and the buzz you get makes it all worthwhile :cheer:
