If I was in your situation I would just happen to casually mention something you ‘read the other day‘ about men buying panties because they smell so nice, mention pheromones etc, and see what her reaction is.  If she throws her hands up in the air and is completely disgusted then just laugh and say something non-committal.

Don’t assume it is disgust though, it may just be shock, as in ‘What? Men really like it, but look at all those vaginal deodorant ads!‘

If she says something like ‘Really?‘ and asks questions or looks thoughful then you can go from there. 

Maybe show her some of the nicer panty sites so that she can see we actually like selling panties, and yes, we’re normal women, Mrs Suburbia, or Miss Girl-Next-Door, not porn actresses or prostitutes.  :rolleyes:

I think pheromones work on anyone, irrespective as what their sexual orientation is.  Scientists reckon that if you meet someone for the first time and just don’t like them but can’t quite put your finger on it, the reason is down to their smell.  You can’t underestimate the power of scent. 

Scent works across the species too, look at dogs who insist on shoving their snout in your crotch and many female owners get attacked by their pet male iguanas when they’re on their menstrual cycle.

Another strange one is that female parrots prefer men and male parrots prefer women.  I’m sure there are many other examples of cross-species reactions to scent.  Any zoologists around?

So, in answer to your query I’d say pheromones work on anything with an olfactory bulb in their brain, a nose in other words.

I think it’s embarrassment and shock rather than disgust.  This is my reasoning for that claim.
