Well Panty Hog didn’t get a definitive answer but I did:

“We have been advised by our merchant facilitators that certain adult and adult entertainment products cannot be transacted through PPPay.com. Please login and withdraw funds remaining in your account. Do not accept further emoney payments through PPPay.com.”

That’s it, no please or thank you. And they don’t tell you they’ve closed your account either, you find out when someone tries to send you cash. I wish I was angry but I’m not. It could have been closed for months and I didn’t even notice!  :cheer: That’s it girls. Close em.

wow they are doing what paypal did, does that mean they will be sucked in to the ebay family??

Are they going to be purchased by ebay/paypal??

It seems to me that that may be the possibility.  ebay in the uk is probably looking at pppay as a good investment for ebay in the uk…

but they have to slap the customers with the crappy rules the us customers have had for years…

Hello super sexy Sassy. How you been hun? Still no joy  🙁 There’s a few out there but they aren’t up to scratch really and non of them are really widely adult used. At least I’ve NEVER been asked to accept them since being online.

There’s:

Greenzap, which has had a lot of compliants.
Stormpay, which has has a lot of ummm compliants!!
Alertpay which is expensive for us UK users and can’t have money tranfered in to a UK account.

A thread on ebare said that we should try Gottapay.com (they say they accept everyone and they’re a couple of years old) or epassporte which, from what I can tell, is loved by pro adult site owners, webcammers and stuff. Trouble is neither are UK I don’t think, and are really complicated in comparison to what we have used. I like to use a UK one at least for my UK gents. That’d be a luxury though right now!

Nochex was soooo simple, we were spoiled I think!  :cheer:

Don’t give up just yet Sass, it’d be criminal if you did! Someone will save us I’m sure.

Hi Sassy and Jess,

you may want to do some digging on Gottapay on google, lots of bad reports  :(  Epassporte is something like Ikobo was, clients have to join and fund their account from their credit card, and sellers have to join and get Visa Card / Electron card to withdraw from bank machines etc.

Your mileage may vary, but do your ‘due dilligence’ work ladies  😉

At least they let us have our money…they’re also not currently doing business with US banks, and I was afraid I’d lose the entire balance in my account (not that there was all that much of a balance, but still), but the check has arrived and cleared this past week.  *WHEW*
