MemberWelcome aboard to a wonderful place that I hope you will find very relaxing during each visit you travel around here!
As for your little question about Amazon Certificates. I think that is something a seller might take for someone wanting to place an order and pay you by using that form of service. ( I could be all wet and if I am,I guess we both will have an education by someone that’s really in the know ):P
Relax and unwind here as you not only get to know us,but we also get to know you some! ( we are all family and it’s a pleasure to see a ‘newbie’ come along and enjoy the ride right along with us all )
Welcome once again to the ‘HOG’ and I’ll sit back and see if my answer to your question was close right along with ya! 😉October 16, 2008 at 1:42 am #23679Anna

Hi Everyone, I am so very new.. I mean like an hour new. I have been reading through all this threads, though I am wondering What you mean by Amazon Certificates ? I am slightly confused, I am so sorry. If anyone could help explain this to me that would be helpful. 😉
Hi Jezabell and welcome to the Hog.
Amazon certificates are online gift certificates where the seller can send you a gift certificate to the value of their order. They pay amazon and amazon send you an email with a code on it that you then copy and paste into your amazon account. You can then spend the certificate within 12 months on anything you like from Amazon.
The only thing you have to remember is that you can only spend amazon.com certs on amazon.com and amazon.co.uk on amazon.co.uk (same for other countries), no interchanging at all, so inform your buyers clearly so they get it right.

MemberHello Jezabell
Welcome to Panty Hog 🙂
You may also re-sell Amazon Gifts Vouchers as anyone with the ‘ secret’ code can redeem them. I did this once when I was more keen on having some cash.Have fun, and well done with your Panty Trust verification xx

I used to sell my amazon gift certificates on Ebay, you have to be careful though. If you use any type of payment processor like Paypal, the bidder can win, pay, spend the certificate and then file a chargeback, so you lose your money and the certificate too. This has happened to me a couple of times and I didn’t manage to get my money back (thanks a lot Paypal 😡 ). Ebay now state that you have to offer Paypal as a payment option when selling any item, so you are really open to fraud like this, as Paypal doesn’t offer seller protection for electronic gift certificates. It’s all a bit of a hassle really. 🙁

MemberThanks Mr E, I was just going to say that, saved me a job! 🙂
I wouldn’t bother trying to resell them to be honest.
Jezabell, if you don’t want amazon gift certicates there are loads of different online stores that do gift certificates too.
Welcome, by the way!

MemberPersonally I wouldn’t touch PayPal regardless of what product one sells/buy! There is too much on-line fraud and PP are getting way too chargeback happy for my liking. 😡
If you choose to sell them, make sure its to someone you trust 🙂
