New and want to meet people

It’s a great idea to post when you’ll be in there. I bet you’ll meet alot of folks, some naughty and some not. I do think you’ll need to be a bit more specific when it comes to the time you’ll be there, though. LOL

We have alot of folks here from around the world and what is one person’s 3pm is another’s 10am. 😉

I’d love to chat sometime and I hope to meet up with you sometime in the chat room. It’s always good to make new friends.

No, not stupid! You’ll find that Phog is a place where people try to help others out. You didn’t think of the time differences because you’re new here so we brought it up. The important thing is now folks know when you’ll be chatting and hopefully they can make it. Then you’ll have some new friends.

What’s a GMT? Is that metric:huh:? 😉

gmt is gwrenage mean time – I think its like what big ben in London is set to or omething lol.

GMT is Greenwich Mean Time, All of the UK use it, in fact all of the world base their times against Greenwich either by adding or subtracting hours to or from it.  Greenwich Mean/Meridian Time is also known as Universal Time.  Just another example of how the whole world does in fact revolve around England  😉

Introducing yourself by holding a chat is a great idea. Unfortunately, the time differences can be a pain in the ass. If people are seriously interested, I’d be happy to work up a box on the front page that announces scheduled chats for the week. This might be helpful as people could know in advance of chats they’d like to participate in. Likewise, if a lady or guy wants to have a standing chat date, that could be noted too.

Also, if you haven’t checked it out, there is a calender here in the forum area that you can add to. Right now it just shows birthdays, but feel free to add anything to it.

I think thats a great idea organising chats that way everyone will know which chat they can go to ect..well thought of  🙂

Past experiences show that the week-end is the best time to get together.
Time here in the UK would be 5pm which is about noon in the states,also a good time for Canada.Better still if Cindy throws a party,it’s standing room only.

Anyone who is free this Sunday do try and join in,the more the merrier. smt
